Hello!
GRAPHIC DESIGN PROGRAM
Check out all the courses.
The Graphic design program encourages students to develop creative and critical thinking skills through a variety of projects and
mediums. Logo design, drawing, painting, lettering, brochures, posters, airbrushing and design theory are all covered throughout the
three years in Graphic design.
Graphic designers are key members of the visual communication team. They must be able to satisfy the client’s communication needs. Computer skills are a very important part of this program. Students will be required to purchase some supplies at the Grade 10 level.
Career opportunities may include: graphic design, web design, electronic publishing, visual merchandising, and printing companies. Students are strongly encouraged to continue their design education at post-secondary schools
such as Red River College, University of Manitoba or
out-of-province design schools.
